FAQ's

So how does this process work?

•     Just send me a CD thru the mail or send the song/songs via e-mail, preferably one tune a time due to the size of a wave file.

•     All compositions must be recorded to a click which I actually prefer to be left in the mix. I can assure that this will benefit both of us.

•     I will check out the material first and then discuss the specifics on the arrangement and what type of sounds/grooves you are looking for. A lot of people will give a me specific CD or person they want me to replicate such as: "I want the drums to sound like Peter Gabriel's So album or even more specific, like, "I want this groove from this song on my recording". I don't have a problem with either situation.

•     You need to let me know exactly what you want, i.e.: the drums come in the second verse and build to the chorus then back down for the third verse...ect or if you want more or less motion during a section. We can work all of this out by phone or e-mail.

What will you get?

You will receive the following tracks:

•     Kick
•     Snare
•     High Hat
•     Tom1
•     Floor tom
•     Left Overhead
•     Right Overhead
•     A room mic which I rarely use, and I can do third Tom if you have Tom Tom oriented song or need some "big time" Tom Tom fills. All tracks will be raw with no compression, gates or EQ. It is all up to you.

What will this cost?

•     I charge $100 per song for two takes.

•     I will cut the track then send it to you. If you are not happy with it or want two versions I will cut it a second time, after that we are back to the aforementioned cost for two takes.

•     I charge $50 if you want any percussion. This always sounds great and is an inexpensive way to spice up a track by adding some motion and color, that is unless we are recording metal or fusion tune. If that is the case, you might not want any percussion. It is your call.

How do you pay?

•     Pay Pal or a good old fashioned check
